Australia seemed all-match-duration comfortable in their game against Pakistan in the second semi final match of the on-going Polo World Cup Qualifiers in Malaysia on Tuesday, but would suddenly pack up against their opponents who were becoming stronger, faster and more horse fleet-footed as the minutes of the match wore on.
All the seven teams taking part in the FIP World Cup Polo Qualifier going on in Malaysia, yesterday traveled the about 400 kilometer distance between Kuantan and the political and economic capital of the country, Kuala Lumpur, in a convoy.
There are a dozen players with a veritable chance of overthrowing Andrew Parrott of New Zealand from his throne of Top Scorer of the tournament, starting today when the semi finals begin. The Kiwi player of handicap 5, at the end of the classification round of matches, leads the table with a veritable haul of 17.
Right from the draw, it was obvious this was not going to be the favourite tournament of Team Nigeria Polo as they had all their preliminary round matches coming in rapid fire before most of the teams, except the ones they played against, had yet to play any.

It is with great sadness that La Sarita lost one of their best horses, Niña during the Season in 2009. Niña came from Paco de Narvaez in Pilar, Argentina and arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Argentina in January 2008.
